In OCD therapy, we will collaboratively identify specific patterns of obsessive-compulsive behavior, along with the triggers and associations linked to them. Together, we'll create an individualized plan to gradually increase the intensity of exposures, making it easier to manage these situations and overcome them. I'll create a safe space for you to share breakthroughs as you transition from old habits to new ones. You can develop a sense of self-reliance that's been a dream until now, one that eventually becomes second nature. My other areas of focus include anxiety, relationships/codependency, and self esteem.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
When I'm with people, they can tell that I care. I'm interested. I want to know what works for you, and what doesn't work for you. I'm invested and I'm sincere. When you come into a session, I'm here to serve you. I love what I do. I think when you have that and people are eager for that, it's an adventure.
The most meaningful part of what I do
Someone once told me, "I feel like I'm getting stronger, and I'm hopeful, and I feel like that in itself is shutting off some of the OCD when it tries to come get me." That, to me, is what I was put on this planet for. I could've cried. To see someone with so much going on feel strong and be able to take in the validation, even though OCD wants to make them scared...it's just a high. It's super.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
I'm here beside you to collaborate with you on this journey. I have some skills, but you're the expert on your life, not me. I don't want to take your power away. I'm here to help you get your inner authority going on in a way that's in accordance with your values. I'm interested in you getting to be your best self.
Why our members love working with Lee
I.B.
When I started NOCD, I was not convinced I would see progress. I had tried dozens of therapies in the past and was ready to throw in the towel. I told my friends and family "Okay, I'll try one last thing - but if it doesn't work then I'm giving up." But lo and behold, after three months, my life has completely changed for the better. Originally I wasn't sure if ERP would be for me, I thought it was silly, but now it's the greatest thing that has happened to me. I am so happy for NOCD's constant support and endless encouragement from my therapist to just keep going, keep showing up.
