My approach to treating OCD is collaborative and member-focused. My approach is focused on empowering you within the session. We go at the pace that you decide is best for where you are in your journey. Outside of work, I enjoy exercise like walking and yoga and engaging in mindfulness activities. Physical activity helps me feel relaxed and most connected to myself.

It's OK to admit that we don’t have certainty in life. This realization can create some fear and discomfort. That’s just part of being human!
My own personal experiences and challenges. Those experiences helped me understand how mental health challenges impact our ability to navigate the world. I became a therapist to help others realize these challenges aren't as insurmountable as they may appear through the lens of mental illness. I want to create a safe and healing space so the members I work with can develop insight and learn they have the capacity for change.
I decided to specialize in treating OCD because the gold standard treatment of exposure and response prevention is efficacious and helps many people ease the suffering caused by their OCD symptoms.
My other areas of focus include the treatment of mood disorders, specifically anxiety, and depression. We're learning that anxiety and depressive symptoms can sometimes appear when someone is impacted by OCD. By continuing to focus on these other areas, I can help my members learn how to take different approaches to treat each condition.
It's OK to be uncertain about what to expect in treatment. I'm so excited and proud of you for continuing to work toward taking ownership of your life.
