Why my members say they feel comfortable with me

People often tell me "I really feel seen in here." Every time I hear that it's so meaningful, not just because I think they're acknowledging that I see them, but I think that often, for the first time, they're seeing and accepting themselves. It's a reminder that there is a space to show up exactly how you are.

My favorite part of treating OCD

When all of a sudden, that breakthrough happens-that moment where they're doing something and they realize, "This is going to start getting better and better." It's a relief for them, and it's exciting for me too. When you really see that "This is happening," together, it's a pretty cool feeling.

My message for you if you're struggling right now

There's nothing I haven't heard. This idea of "What might Lee think of me? What might be going on?"...what matters is getting the help that you need to work through this, right? Showing up in session and letting out that "secret" is so healing. Come and talk about it, and let's see what we can do together.
