I am a warm, non-judgmental therapist. I believe everyone has the ability to make the positive changes they hope for, but sometimes we need someone to walk that journey with us. Having sought counseling myself, I know how valuable it can be to have someone beside you as you heal. OCD therapy won't be easy, but I will be with you the whole way. I also have experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, panic attacks, the effects of sex trafficking, and mothers working to regain custody of their children.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I have family members who have struggled with substance abuse, bipolar disorder, and OCD, among other things, which I think helps me to empathize really deeply with people. I also felt like an outsider for a long time when I was younger, and I think that's another part of where my empathy comes from. I really want to make sure that I'm seeing you for who you are.
My favorite part of treating OCD
One of the things that led me here was spending a lot of years in misery and not having help for a long time—and then even when I did find help, not feeling like they were really hearing me and understanding what I was saying. I'm really grateful that I can give somebody the support I didn't have. It always makes me happy to see people getting therapy, especially when they're doing it earlier than I did.
What I want to help you see in yourself
The normalcy of what you experience and feel and think, especially those thoughts that might feel embarrassing or come with fear of being judged or misunderstood. Our brains have ways of helping us survive that can be complex and confusing for us, but there's so much we can do to help with this. I want you to feel like a person instead of a disorder.
