I admire your bravery. Therapy is never easy, and confronting our fears while developing new coping skills can be the most challenging thing we'll take on in our lives. But with tremendous challenge comes the opportunity for tremendous growth. I'll support and motivate you to overcome challenges so you can experience that growth. I'll help you identify the core fears you're attempting to control with compulsions and support you as you confront those fears in a safe and secure environment. In addition to OCD, I also specialize in treating addiction.

My personal connection to mental health

I grew up in a household where mental health wasn't valued. I learned how issues can escalate and become a lot bigger if you don't find a way to address them, and how that can impact people. I believe that taking care of your mental health is just as important as medical checkups. Mental health is the cornerstone of a life well-lived.

What I want to help you see in yourself

OCD can make you feel trapped inside your own head. I like to help people realize that they can survive outside of that internal world where OCD keeps them stuck.

My message to you if you're hesitant to start therapy

A good therapist is going to meet you wherever you are—no matter how stressed you might be, no matter where you're at in your life, there's space in there for improvement. And you'll never be asked to do anything you're not ready to handle. In fact, you might learn just how much you're actually capable of.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I really focus on building what we call the therapeutic alliance. I'm really invested in the success of everyone I work with, and they realize that my commitment to them goes beyond our therapy sessions. I make sure you know I'm bought into your therapy results.
