She/Her
Licensed Therapist, MS, LMHC
As your OCD therapist, my goal is to be a consistent presence who will instill hope and guide you through the step-by-step and exciting process of walking head-on into your fears, realizing you can do it, and getting to the other side. Outside of work, I love spending time with my 11-year-old son and playing sports, singing, dancing, and playing with our pet bunny. I have just published my first book, Giving Birth Doesn’t Make You a Mother: A Guide to Conscious, Healing, and Transformative Parenting.

You are stronger than you know. As scary and uncomfortable as your intrusive thoughts and anxiety can be, bringing yourself through the experience of OCD therapy can adjust the brain’s response to fear. It can be life-changing.
In 1989, someone I truly loved was killed in a car accident, and I developed anxiety and panic attacks shortly thereafter. I gained a deep appreciation for the therapeutic relationship and the process. At that time, I realized I had the natural qualities of a good therapist. I was always the person friends and family would come talk to, and I was often told I was good at it.
I've specialized in anxiety disorders for years, and I've been seeing more people with variations of OCD who've achieved little relief from traditional talk therapy. I then saw Howie Mandel’s NOCD commercial, read about his journey with OCD, and thought, 'If he's endorsing this therapy, it has to work.' I researched further and was then recruited by NOCD. My son also has intrusive thoughts, and I want to be able to help him, along with NOCD's members, overcome them.
Anxiety, trauma, relationships, inner child work, couples and family counseling, and substance use.
You are stronger than you know. As scary and uncomfortable as your intrusive thoughts and anxiety can be, this evidence-based treatment can work. Bringing yourself through the experience can adjust the brain’s response to fear. It can be life-changing.
I have experience and extensive training in OCD. I understand the many ways it can present and how disturbing OCD intrusive thoughts and obsessions can be. The thoughts are ego-dystonic, meaning OCD attacks your core values and what is most important to you. These thoughts are the opposite of who you are. That's why they're so upsetting—they cause you to question your character and motives. But you are not alone. I'm here to help you understand how it all works. I will never judge you or define you by these thoughts.
