She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LPC
As a therapist, I am warm but direct. You're here because you're tired of the challenges that have made life more difficult. I'll do what I can to help you on this journey. I work to create an environment where your autonomy is intact, and you are cared for and respected. When I'm not working, if the weather is on my side, I'm hiking a mountain trail, biking, trying to roller skate, gardening, or camping. When indoors, I usually knit and listen to a book or podcast, but music is my best friend. I enjoy cultivating my tiny vinyl collection and going to shows.

If it wasn’t work, it wouldn’t work. OCD therapy will be challenging, but it is doable and worthwhile!
I’ve always been fascinated with human nature, philosophy, and helping others. Becoming a therapist blended these passions and allowed me to impact other people in a positive way. I love that advocacy can also be part of my work. I truly enjoy helping educate others and work toward better ethical practices.
OCD is highly stigmatized and often misunderstood. I seek to provide an open space for those who may not have one. It’s amazing to work with modalities and techniques that really change people’s lives. So many aspects of living with OCD can feel shameful, misunderstood, or scary to divulge to others. I hope NOCD members experience a space where vulnerability is genuinely seen as a strength when we work together.
I have been lucky enough to work with amazing teens and adults who have lived with PTSD after facing acute and complex traumas. Trauma can be extremely difficult to share, let alone work through. I’m honored that I’ve gotten to walk with others on a part of their journey.
I’m not going to lie: if it wasn’t work, it wouldn’t work. It’ll be challenging, but it is doable and worthwhile!
Think about where that fear comes from. Are you worried about judgment, being misunderstood, or something else? These are all things that I am happy to talk through with you. Opening up to someone about things that have been concerning, frightening, or bothering you can be challenging and require a level of vulnerability that we don’t often afford to others. I hope to earn your trust and help you understand that OCD thoughts are varied and worrying for all that experience them. Remember, you’re in the right place!
