NOCD saved my life!
I was really at the lowest point in my life before I started NOCD. I had been through several therapists and psychiatrist providers who just didn't seem to "get it." I had to leave nursing school and my part-time job because my obsessions were consuming every second of my day and I was paralyzed by fear. I didn't think things would ever get better. But from the first day I met with my NOCD therapist, Bonnie, I felt just a bit of comfort knowing I wasn't alone. Each session got a bit more comfortable, and while there were definitely some ups and downs during therapy, I felt like a significant weight was removed from me after I completed my sessions. Looking back now, almost three years later, I truly don't know what I would have done without NOCD. Thank you to Bonnie and the NOCD team for helping me through my recovery journey!

Shelley Smith is a rockstar!
Shelley Smith is absolutely amazing! When my daughter’s OCD was at its worst, I wasn’t sure she was going to make it through the school year. She couldn’t even get out of bed because she was so scared of contamination and germs, she wouldn’t touch her dog, and couldn’t take a shower because she was so scared of being clean and then getting dirty as soon as she stepped out of the shower. Shelley is the most patient person that i know! We cried, screamed, ran away from the zoom, negotiated terms, and begged to stop, but at the end of the day Shelley earned her trust which is what enabled my daughter to follow through on what she needed to do to conquer the OCD. Zoom therapy was exactly what she needed because her triggers are all in our home (not in a doctor’s office). Shelley gave my daughter the tools and confidence she needed to get back to daily functioning and we made it through this school year! I cannot express how thankful I am for Shelley and NOCD!

I’ve enjoyed working with Kelsey so much. She is always so positive and I look forward to our sessions every week. The amount of progress I’ve seen over the last 3 months is amazing. This past week, I finally started to feel like myself again. I’ve seen more progress in these last few months than I’ve had in the last 10 years. Finally Heard
I feel like Leigh really listen to what I was saying and how I was feeling. She explained to me that PTSD can cross over into OCD territory and made me feel like maybe what happened wasn’t my fault. I have a lot of hope that I will be able to heal.
